Morus Alba is an ancient species of tree native to India and China. This deciduous tree reaches up to 10-20 meters in height and has a dense, spreading canopy of leaves. The leaves are large, up to 25 cm long and 15 cm wide, and are usually dark green on the top and light green on the underside.
The tree bears clusters of small, white flowers in the late spring and early summer, and these flowers are followed by small, round fruits in the late summer. These fruits are covered in a white, waxy skin and contain many tiny, black seeds, which are edible and known as mulberries.
Mulberries are rich in vitamins A, C and K, as well as calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. They are a good source of dietary fiber and have several medicinal properties, such as reducing inflammation and fighting bacteria. Mulberries are also known to have antioxidant properties and are believed to help protect against some forms of cancer.
Morus Alba is widely cultivated as an ornamental tree, and is also used for its edible fruits and medicinal properties. The leaves and fruit of the tree are also used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat a variety of illnesses.
Morus Alba is a versatile tree that can be used in many different ways. It is a valuable source of food for both humans and animals, as well as a beautiful and easy to care for ornamental plant.
