The Kapok Tree produces a fluffy, white cotton-like fiber, known as kapok, which is used to make pillows, mattresses, and other lightweight items.

Kapok is a highly sought after natural fiber, due to its light weight, strong water-resistant properties, and its ability to insulate against heat and cold. It is also known for its hypoallergenic properties, making it a popular material for those with allergies. Kapok can be used in a variety of products, such as mattresses, blankets, and pillows.

Kapok is also a popular ingredient in traditional medicines. The fiber is used to make ointments, salves, and powders, which are believed to have healing properties. It is also used to make natural dyes, due to its vibrant yellow color. Kapok is also used as a natural pesticide, as the fiber is believed to repel insects.
