Interrupted Fern Spores are a unique species of fern that are native to South America, particularly in the area known as the Amazon rainforest. They are a common houseplant and have been used for hundreds of years for both decorative and medicinal purposes. The spores are typically harvested from the plant itself and can be used to propagate the fern.

The plant itself is quite striking; it has a tall, upright form and long, glossy green fronds that can reach up to two feet in length. The spore-bearing sori, or reproductive structures, are found on the underside of the fronds. These are small, round, yellow-brown structures that are interrupted in the middle, hence the plant's name.

The spores themselves are very small, measuring only 1/50th of a millimeter in diameter. They are a reddish-brown color and are highly viable, meaning they are capable of germination and growing into a new plant. When used correctly, the spores can be used to propagate the fern and create new plants.

Interrupted Fern Spores have been used for centuries for their medicinal properties. They are believed to help boost the immune system, reduce inflammation and fight off infections. They are also thought to be beneficial for skin conditions, such as acne and eczema.

Finally, the spores are also edible and have been used in cooking for many years. They can be ground into a powder and used as a seasoning, or added to soups and stews for flavor. They are also high in fiber, making them a healthy and nutritious addition to any meal.

3. Till the soil to rid it of weeds and to increase air circulation. Apply compost to the soil after tilling.
