1. Catnip is a perennial herb that can be grown outdoors or kept as a houseplant. It has a strong scent that cats find irresistible. The leaves, flowers, and stems of the plant can be dried and used as cat treats. Catnip has a variety of health benefits for cats, including stress relief and relaxation.

2. Catnip seeds are small and round, with a light brown color. They can be planted directly into the soil, or started indoors and then transplanted outdoors. The seeds need to be kept moist and in a warm environment in order to germinate. Once planted, catnip will begin to grow and produce the familiar leaves and flowers that cats love.

3. Catnip plants typically grow to a height of about two feet, with a bushy appearance. The leaves are grey-green, and the flowers are white or pink, depending on the variety. Catnip flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

4. Catnip is a member of the mint family, and has a strong, pungent scent that cats find irresistible. Cats will rub, roll, and play with catnip, and will often drool and act silly. The effects of catnip usually last for about 10 minutes.

5. Catnip is a safe and natural way to provide cats with a bit of fun and relaxation. It can be used to help cats who are stressed, anxious, or just bored. Catnip can also be used to encourage cats to use scratching posts or litter boxes.
