1. Key Lime is a unique citrus fruit with a tart, tangy flavor. It is a small, round, green, acidic citrus fruit that grows on lime trees native to the Caribbean region and the Florida Keys. Key Limes are highly valued for their high acidity and strong aroma. The juice is often used in cooking to add flavor to many dishes.

2. Key Limes are distinct from other limes because of their smaller size, thinner skin, and more intense flavor. When ripe, the skin is a yellow-green color, and the flesh is a pale yellow color. Key Limes are also known for their high Vitamin C content, with just one lime providing over 40 percent of the recommended daily allowance.

3. The most common use for Key Limes is in the classic Key Lime Pie. The lime juice adds a tart, tangy flavor to the sweet, creamy pie filling. Other popular uses include in cocktails, sauces, and as a garnish for fish and other dishes.

4. Key Lime trees are hardy and can thrive in many climates. They prefer full sun and well-drained soil, and can be grown in containers or in the ground. They can reach heights of up to 10 feet and produce fruits for up to 10 years.

5. If you are looking for a unique citrus flavor, Key Limes are an excellent choice. They are an ideal addition to many recipes, and their high Vitamin C content makes them a nutritious snack. Whether you use them for baking, cooking, or just to enjoy on their own, Key Limes are sure to be a hit in any kitchen.
